Abstract 

Are science and faith mutually soluble? Are they like water and alcohol, which can be combined in  any proportions to form a homogeneous mixture, or are they like oil and vinegar – no matter what  you do they will always separate? Does one have to compartmentalize one’s brain to work in a  university laboratory during the week and then go to a church service on Sunday. This talk will  take an honest look at the apparent contradictions in the worldviews of a scientist and a Christian  and consider whether they can peacefully coexist.
